Snow-white and rose-red
The fairy tale is about two sisters who live peacefully in the forest with their mother until they meet a talking bear and a grumpy dwarf. Oskar Herrfurth made a series of four postcards for Uvachrom in 1930.
Snow-White and Rose-Red spend most of their time in the forest, playing with animals, sometimes even spending the night outside. Their life is idyllic.
The winter is cold and the girls are mostly indoors with their mother. One day they get an unusual visitor - a talking bear. He is very friendly and they enjoy the company of each other. The sisters are pretty sad when spring comes and the bear tells them he has to leave. He says he has an enemy - a dwarf, who stole his treasures.
The girls soon meet another interesting creature. It's a dwarf who seems to be constantly in trouble. Once he had caught his beard, the other time a fish almost pulled him into the water, and yet another time, an eagle tried to lift him to bring him as food for its nest.
Snow-White and Rose Red saved the dwarf's life three times and he never thanked them. Instead, he was cursing and swearing and threatening. But the sisters never lost their kindness.

This is the last scene, portrayed by Mr. Herrfurth. The bear and the dwarf confront each other and the bear kills the little man. Right after that, he transforms into a handsome prince. He explains he was enchanted by this very dwarf, who stole his precious stuff but now he restored his look and his wealth. He invites Snow-White and Rose-Red to his castle. They take their mother with them.
After some time, the prince marries Snow-White, and his brother Rose-Red. They all live happily ever after.
